Evangelist Connie Russell received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on Monday, April 23, 1984 at 4:20 P.M. at the Rock Temple Church of God in Christ in Jackson, TN. She received her Evangelist licenses in August 1997 under the leadership of Bishop J.C. Williams and Jurisdictional Supervisor, Mother Artaska King. She is the youngest daughter of Abraham Lincoln and Frances Louise Russell.

Evangelist Connie Russell is a member of the Little Community Church of God in Christ Milwaukee, Wisconsin where her eldest brother, Elder Lincoln E. Russell, Sr. is Pastor. (www.littlecommunityonline.org) She serves as Local YPWW President, Church Ambassador, Assistant Choir President, Youth Leader, Coordinator of Food Drive, and other duties as assigned.

In March 2007, God spoke to Evangelist Russell and said "It's time for you to do what I've prepared you to do." Out of obedience, Evangelist Russell resigned all her Jurisdictional and National YPWW positions to do the work of an Evangelist. Because Evangelist Russell stepped out on Faith, God placed it on the heart of her Jurisdictional Supervisor to nominate her to receive National Evangelist license. On Saturday, November 8, 2008, Evangelist Russell was appointed a National Evangelist by our General Supervisor Mother Willie Mae Rivers in Memphis, TN and presented to the National Church during the women's day service of the International Holy Convocation Memphis, TN Friday, November 6, 2009 by General Supervisor Mother Willie Mae Rivers. Since that time, God has showed himself faithful and strong in the life of this anointed woman of God.
